This piece celebrates marches for justice and equality past and present. The design commemorates the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom with three mini vintage protest signs, accompanied by two more contemporary protest signs from the marches of present day, representing the continuing struggle of BiPOC communities for equality and justice. Each mini protest sign is etched into recycled copper, and then set in recycled sterling silver. The sterling silver back plates are lightly textured and antiqued. The closure is a handmade hook and loop clasp with additional links for an adjustable fit.
