ITEM DESCRIPTION: Dior H Ova, who also was identified as Tiffany Harris, a Black transgender woman, who lived in the Bronx, New York. According to her Facebook she was born in Jamaica. She loved fashion -- listing her career as a personal shopper. Dior/ Tiffany was a fashion forward black trans woman who wore big chunky and bright jewelry.
While looking through her pictures I noticed one constant— her bright stud earrings. As an artist I wanted to make something that was guaranteed to have made her smile, while also challenging myself. I found a pair of bright white topaz stones (6mm) that were perfect, so I set them in to sterling silver studs (925) to shine on forever in honor of this young life stolen.
